Fair Play Day 2023

On what, in the words of the first chairman Markus Ebel-Waldmann, is “the most beautiful sports field in the Rheingau”, a charity event for  Integration projects of the youth of SV 1919 Johannisberg instead of. This event is in the spotlightfor tolerance and respect, against racism, hate speech and violence. The event format was developed by the initiatorMichael Medoch brought from the state capital Wiesbaden to the Rheingau cultural landscape and is taking place for the fourth time. The panoramic view from the sports field over the Rheingau and far into the Rhine-Hesse hinterland is emblematic of the goals of the event, which is supported by the internationally renowned university in Geisenheim. University sports, the International Office and the integration officer Mustafa Selim were involved, as were numerous international students from many countries around the world.

The youth leader of SV 1919 Johannisberg Alex Stolze welcomes six integration teams to an exciting tournament in the early morning. Be there Kanax United, Ariana Weilrot, Freedom Oberursel, Youth Welfare Marienhausen, Bibak Steinbach, The New Nauheimers. The final game will take place at 2:00 p.m. The award ceremony will take place at around 2:30 p.m. with prominent representatives from politics, business and society.

The well-known ZDF sports presenter and likeable Rheingau nativeThomas Wark is expected to be the stadium announcer that day. The former Bundesliga refereeKnut Kircher referees numerous games, but without connection to the Cologne VAR cellar.

The representatives from the press, politics, business and society are invited to a short presentation on the terrace at the Goldatzel winery at 12:30 p.m. With aExtract from the play “Page Change” by Chris Chibnall directed by Anna Sophie Baumgart and the actor Andreas KunzThe social challenge of same-sex orientation in football is impressively addressed.

Afterwards we go to the sports field together for the finale with short greetings and ajoint group photo #rheingaugegenracism (drone shot)

In addition to numerous drinks and food stands, visitors can expect an entertaining standSV Wehen-Wiesbaden, of West Hesse Police Headquarters,  an informational wine standInternational students the Geisenheim University, a poster exhibition byDr. Moustafa Selim Integration Officer , as well as numerous smaller attractions such as. E.g. goal wall shooting.
